With the development of TRENTO, Hulshof has developed a new type of upholstery leather with extremely high resistance to wear, without the loss of any of the softness and elegance of luxurious genuine leather. A beautiful grain structure with a smooth touch is achieved by using a special Hulshof mineral tanning process. The leather is fully aniline dyed to produce a beautiful solid colour. Trento is a slightly polished semi-aniline leather. This preserves all of the beauty of the natural grain of the hide. For this special leather, Hulshof uses only the very best hides with a minimum of natural marks such as insect bites and scratches. The environmentally friendly protective finish is formulated with special pigments that possess very high light fastness. Furthermore rubbing- and flex testing show that Trento is significantly better than other competitive leathers.
